Elegant Vintage Inspired Wedding at La Valencia Hotel: Erica and Craig

This vintage inspired wedding almost leaves me without words. Almost. Erica and Craig were smitten with soft buttercream tones, apricot hues, and feathers. We hand wired gardenias, peonies, David Austin roses, and feathers to create a romantic bouquet for the bride. To compliment the antique blue worn by her bridesmaids, we used Juliet roses, cattelya orchids, peonies, and parrot tulips for richly textured bouquets. For the lucky flower girls, we made floral purses embellished with delicate parrot tulip petals, touches of rhinestones, and a vintage lace handle.

Erica and Craig said their “I do’s” surround by two lusciously rustic arrangements, bursting with tulips, orchids, and whimsical dogwood. Afterwards, guests were greeted in the Verandah Room by abundant centerpieces resting on wrought iron candelabras. Each vase and vessel were embellished with French satin ribbons and gold vintage brooches from our own collection. Champagne lace overlays from Wildflower Linens perfectly complimented the elegant vintage theme carried throughout the wedding. Simply Posh Design created gorgeous menus on her signature silk boards for each of the guests. It is always a pleasure working with the stylish and graceful, Catherine, of CBS Weddings. La Valencia Hotel wedding : Sapphire blue inspiration

Classic with a twist! Set in the beautiful La Valencia, this elegant coastal wedding had some delightful highlights. Tracey and Peder utilized a classic white and ivory floral palette, but with touches of cobalt blue, sage, and platinum. The idea was centered around the striking hue of the bridesmaids dresses, who carried bouquets of green hydrangeas, ivory roses, and white tulips. As she walked down a solid petal path, Tracey held an elegant bouquet composed of roses, gardenias, and dendrobium orchids. We added jewels that perfectly matched the pearls on her dress. The couple exchanged their vows between two cascading arrangements atop platinum columns. Veranda Room looked fantastic with custom ceiling drapings and chandeliers packed with ivory blooms and dripping with crystals! Overflowing centerpieces with hints of green hydrangea and amarathus decorated each of the platinum covered tables. Cobalt prisms, which echoed the lovely menus and place cards by Wendy Ware, were suspended from each of the arrangements. For even more color, we surrounded the centerpieces with blue water floating candles and blue hue lightings from Platinumpro. It’s always a delight working with wedding planner Susanne Duffy of Crown Weddings who did a fantastic job assembling all the moving parts for this wedding. La Valencia Hotel Chic wedding: Allison and Joseph

You really can not go wrong with a wedding at La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla. It never disappoint. With its charming mediterranean flair and breathtaking views, La Valencia Hotel is one of my favorite wedding hot spots. Allison and Joseph’s wedding made this place extra special. I can honestly say she was the easiest bride ever! not to mention she was absolutely stunning on her wedding day. The inspiration of this wedding was wrapped around the plum and purple color the attendants wore. We designed their bouquets with magenta orchids, calla lilies and lavender roses. The decor in the Verandah room at La Valencia was decked out with beautiful white florals. We draped the Verandah terrace ceiling and embellished the existing chandeliers with hanging crystals and orchid leis. The black and white checker flooring added much pizazz to the reception decor. I simply love this room. Elegant and timeless.
