Green is the quintessential color of spring. Bells of Ireland are usually revered for their long curved stalks, but I’m absolutely smitten with their fluffy tips. The green theme is further accentuated by cymbidium orchids. Orange cherry brandy roses play a fabulous counterpart and intensifies the colors. I just swoon at the sight of their ruffled petals! ~ Aileen

Our favorite ‘PINK’ beach wedding: Mindi and Jeff
Speaking of Pink! Modern8 films just shared with us our favorite PINK wedding at the Hotel Del Coronado. How can you beat a wedding on the beach all decked out in Pink? Such a girl’s dream! Mindi and Jeff had a fairy tale wedding ceremony on the sands of the Hotel Del Coronado with their wedding reception in the beautiful Grand Ballroom. They certainly did not leave out any details. This was indeed a spectacular wedding……..enjoy!
Pink peonies and gold tabletop
It’s that time of year when peonies are in full bloom, and we couldn’t be more excited. Their delicate scent, softness, and infinite amount of petals all send my heart a flutter. The season only last for a few weeks out of the year, and we try to take full advantage of these glorious beauties. Here we played with the colors pink and gold to create an over-the-top and opulent tablescape. Sarah Bernhardt peonies play the star in this centerpiece. Its abundant petals lend well to our love for things lush and feminine. His and her chairs adorned with flowers and streaming leis would make it difficult for any couple to want to get up and leave them for the dance floor. Add a floral table runner of white hydrangea, spray roses, and orchid leis as well as silk box favors embellished with crystals and you’re in flower heaven.

Bouquet Monday: Spring Garden Bouquet
Spring is almost coming to an end. What better way to celebrate the closing of my favorite floral season than with a fresh gathering of springtime delights? A combination of green kale, fluffy viburnum, ruffled ranunculus, and delicate sweet peas all work together to make a garden themed bouquet. Loosely arranging the blooms in a freeform manner allows their organic side to shine through. This great photo was taken by Pam Scott. Thank you Pam for your amazing work! ~Aileen
