A great pleasure to design at this spectacular venue, The Four Seasons Maui at Wailea. This luxurious wedding ceremony was set on the oceanfront lawn perched over the gorgeous beach at Wailea. Beautiful shades of blush, cream, carmel and bronze were used throughout. Thousands of roses alone were used to prepare this thick and lush petal path for the beautiful bride. This lush and opulent floral piece was a show stopper and made a Grand statement for this extraordinary wedding at the Grand Del Mar.
Bringing deep jewel tone colors to the ballroom has an amazing striking effect. We love the wedding details of Vicky and Dale at the Four Seasons. What a fantastic venue! This wonderful couple wanted the elegance and glamour of the crystals and vibrant colors. We used gorgeous combination magenta orchids, peonies, hydrangeas and roses to form this luxurious floral piece. Whether you take your tea with one lump or two, this English countryside inspired photo shoot is as sweet as it gets. Within the sprawling acres of the Santaluz Country Club, we set an intimate and charming table underneath a glittering vintage chandelier. Antique tea tins and silver vases were filled with Spring time blooms in a white, ivory, and muted apricot color palette, with soft touches of dusty miller and succulents. A hand embroidered lace overlay and pink champagne add the perfect touch of feminine elegance. To match the ruffles on our fair lady’s dress, we added whimsical chiffon ruffles to the bouquet. Lets not forget the floral collar on our precious Bassett Hound (who came to model after a full day of hunting, of course). Ah, the charm of Rancho Valencia Resort gets us every time. We jumped with glee at the opportunity to create their table at the recent Hitched! bridal showcase in Del Mar. This is our way of interpreting the magic of the Rancho Valencia Resort. Imagine entering into perfectly serene grounds filled with orange groves, lush landscaping, and inviting spanish haciendas with old world charm. This alluring resort tickles your every senses. Our display for this table included gorgeous spring blooms in butter yellow, sherbet, and creamy white hues. We lined the rustic table with a vintage lace runner and scattered bushels of lemons and orange lossoms. Elegant blooms of cattleya orchids, hyacinths, and ranunculus were gather together and placed in charming vintage tea tins, and an old world candelabra festooned with cherry blossoms and springtime florals. We truly look forward to the grand reopening of the luxurious resort!

Within the pages of this season’s fabulous Exquisite Weddings magazine, you’ll find our delicious dessert display captured by the talented Terri Rippee. Aileen Tran, our event stylist, harmonized gold and silver in this metallic themed candy station by adding blush pink touches and a nod to Roaring 20′s vintage glamour. We teamed up with Jennifer Daillard of J Grace Designs, who provided the luxurious stationary and her signature paper. Ostrich feathers, tassels, and beaded fringe adorned the platters, cakes stands, and apothecary jars. Gilded chocolate rosette and art nouveau inspired shells were propped on trays lined with J Grace’s elegant embossed paper. A nostalgic treat like kettle corn turned into something posh when we put them in glamorized retro striped paper cones. Gold sugar flower topped cupcakes, gold leafed french macarons, and silver jordan almonds individually packaged in custom monogrammed bags were our version of ultimate indulgence. A gold rosette backdrop and luxe sequin linen sent this flapper fantasy over the top…Enjoy!
We are anxiously awaiting the reopening of the beautiful Rancho Valencia Resort this late summer. Rancho Valencia Resort is a luxurious resort perfectly tucked away on a lush 40 acres offering upscale location for a wedding. We are honored to be asked to decorate their table yesterday at the ‘Hitched!’ wedding event in Del Mar. Our table decor embraced the rustic yet elegant aesthetic of Rancho Valencia. We welcomed the spring season with the luscious blooms of hyacinths, tulips, anemones and apricot blossoms perfectly displayed on an exquisite lace runner. Sweet tea tins and orange blossoms makes this tablescape ‘oh so charming!’
Ah looking at these gorgeous images from the talented Pamela Scott takes me back to the beautiful wedding of Denise and Tim. The wedding graced the latest Ceremony Magazine 2012. Three page spread showcasing the whimsical and romantic ceremony at the Japanese Friendship Garden. We were in Peony and Orchid heaven. Hundreds of the lovely peonies and Phaleanopsis orchids were used to line the pathway and hung from the above. Soft amethyst fabric were added to the entrance and the wedding canopy. Crystal strands added much ‘Glam’ to this ceremony. The wedding reception in La Jolla embraced a more modern and vivid tone. Here we were encouraged to unleash our creativity. And we did! We adorned each and every vessel with fun and exciting elements such as crocodile embossed fabrics, brooches, textured ribbons, rhinestones and sequins. J Grace Stationery provided the luxurious silk board menus that completely the wedding beautifully. Congratulations Denise and Tim! Thank you for inviting the Karen Tran team to design your wedding!
The latest Winter 2012 Inside Weddings Magazine featured our beautiful couple Chleo and Ben. Their wedding took place at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel. Being the grandson of the Music Guru Wayne Foster Entertainment gives you many perks. It’s no surprise that this wedding would be flawless, gorgeous and action packed with the most amazing entertainment in the industry. The lovely bride Chloe carried a classic white and ivory bouquet with a large crystal brooch while her beautiful attendant’s bouquets of purple, magenta and plum hues were striking with their deep amethyst dresses. Crystals, bling and sparkles were indeed the theme for this lavish wedding. There were delicious details at every turn. Upon entering the grand ballroom, the magnificent custom hi gloss dance floor set the tone for an all night festivities. And how about the crystal encrusted grand piano custom made for the fabulous Wayne Foster? We even made floral boxes adorned with large crystal brooches to complement this glamorous theme. J Grace luxurious stationery provided the gorgeous silk board menus and our very own collection of crystal brooch napkin rings complemented the table scape beautifully. The stunning large floral arrangement glistening with crystal prisms graced each guest table and the entire room lit up with violet and purple hues. This truly was a glamorous wedding and the working with the Wayne Foster family has been complete pleasure. Congratulations Chleo and Ben!
