When the beautiful bride Mandy came to us with a request for a french vintage wedding (think Versailles!). I immediately jumped with excitement! It’s no secret I am in LOVE with anything glamorous and a french baroque theme in the Versailles ballroom at the Westgate Hotel just fit the bill. My head was spinning with vision of everything ‘spendor’. The Versailles room definitely live up to it’s name. The gold gilded walls and stunning crystal chandeliers was the perfect room to host this french inspired wedding. The ballroom served a dual purpose of the ceremony and reception. The guests sat in a circular style arranged around the beautiful custom dance floor with the couple’s filigree logo provided by Platinumpro. Our team then flipped the room for the reception dinner. Tall and opulent baroque style candelabra cascading with white florals displayed on each guest table surrounded with gold trimmed candle holders. Our rich lace gold overlay for the sweetheart table and cake table added depth and tied this theme together seamlessly. Don’t you just adore the Throne style setee from Concept rentals?. Fit for the queen and king for sure! I love that Mandy collected vintage keys and pin cushions to hold the guest names (provided by J Grace stationery). The collection was unique and so precious! These were elegantly displayed on the escort table.
We hope you enjoyed viewing the photos of this wedding as much as we enjoyed designing it. Many thanks for the sweet Sarah Zimmer for being there to photograph the decor for us. Thank you so much Sarah! We will post more images of this sweet couple soon!
It was such a pleasure to design this wedding for ultra sweet and special couple Vicky and Dale. The wedding celebration at the Four Seasons Westlake in Los Angeles set a beautiful tone for this vibrant wedding. The wedding ceremony decor embraced the all white theme which was perfect against the soothing waterfall backdrop and majestic pine trees. The reception celebration took on the vibrant palette using all the jewel tone colors the couple love. Deep purple, magenta, royal blue, chartreuse and deep pink blooms graced each crystal draped vessel in the beautiful ballroom at the Four Seasons. The amethyst lighting and linens gave this room a soft glow and blends well with the custom seamless dance floor. The deep purple chameleon chairs were lovely and complement the tablescape perfectly! We adorned each glass vessel with our signature crystal brooch for the extra sparkle and it truly made a statement.
Congratulations to the lovely couple Vicky and Dale!

This past summer, we had a complete pleasure of designing a wedding on a beautiful lake in Minnesota. We enjoyed working with this beautiful family and so honored to be a part of their wedding celebration. The wedding took place at the family’s estate in northern Minnesota. The beautiful bride Jennifer wanted a classic and timeless wedding, the white neutral palette was the obvious choice. The lush forest setting was a perfect backdrop for this lakeside wedding. This island on the peninsula is home to thousands of birch trees, it was absolutely stunning! We took full advantage of the shades and designed the long T-shape tables around these trees to accomodate 70 guests. White nantucket lanterns lined the path for the bride as she crossed over to the dock where the ceremony was located. The reception celebration included a long table setting with lush white florals. White peonies, garden roses, fuffy hydrangeas and of course elegant white phalaenopsis orchids were featured. We love how our custom table linens looked with this setting. It mimics the leaves from the beautiful birch trees.
We are so lucky here at Karen Tran Florals to share this beautiful day with this special couple. Thank you so much Jennifer and Richard! Congratulations to you both!

We adore the Hotel Del Coronado and we love blush colored wedding. What a beautiful combination! The bride Erin was glamorous, gorgeous and incredibly stunning on her wedding day. Her Vera Wang dress was a perfect balance of vintage and modern. The grand ballroom at the Hotel Del Coronado sparkled with beautiful linens from La Tavola and large blush pink florals. In keeping with the romantic vintage theme, we used an abundance of crystal strands draping off these romantic centerpieces. Our sweet bride Erin adores lace and vintage glam. Therefore a plethora of lace wrappings and vintage brooches were used throughout the tables. We are specially fond the couple’s sweetheart table where they displayed the original china from Erin’s grandmother. So sweet! Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
Many thanks to Pam Scott Photography for these images.

Without a doubt the neutral and blush colors are the most popular hues for weddings this last couple of years. And do you blame a bride for loving this romantic color palette? We designed the tabletop for that blushing bride who loves all things feminine and dreamy. The tent setting with a crystal chandelier set a beautiful tone for this luxurious tabletop. The gorgeous ruffled table linen provided by Nuage Designs in New York blends wonderfully with our custom made fabric flowers used throughout the design as well as the chair covers. Fine jewels added sparkles to the place setting and glass vessels. The wedding setting is indeed every girl’s dream…
We felt right at home designing this special wedding for the beautiful bride Tina and her groom Corey at the Montage Laguna beach. The bride’s love for the french coastal chic decor transpire on the pacific lawn of this upscale resort. The wedding canopy was drenched with drift wood, hanging succulents, roses and elegant orchids and adorn with a natural floral chandelier. The two massive floral pieces sat on scalelike colomns at entrance to the ceremony greeted the guests as they sat down on the oceanfront ceremony lawn. We love the use of blush and neutral palette and multiple texture for this wedding. We will be posting the details of this exquisite wedding soon.
The beautiful and elegant blush shades has got to be the most popular and desirable color combination this year. Recently we designed an elegant wedding at the Grand Del mar playing off this gorgeous color palette. We introduced delicate fabrics and luxurious crystal brooches to their table setting. Attention to small intricate details were definitely key for this wedding. Each vessel for the table was carefully wrapped and embellished with unique adornment. The neutral colors blends beautifully with the Grand Del Mar’s opulent decor and setting. Gold table linens and overlays paired with amber lighting in the Capella chapel set the perfect tone for this classic and romantic wedding.
Many thanks to Joseph Matthew for these gorgeous images.
We are anxiously awaiting images from this lavish wedding at the Grand Del Mar. In the meantime, here are some great teasers. One cannot go wrong with an elaborate wedding in the Elizabeth ballroom. Rich shades of deep fuchsia, magenta and dark pink combined with the luxurious gold accents gives this wedding the royal touch. To create this extravagant effect, we used more than 1200 fuchsia phalaenopsis orchids for this wedding. We just love the drama these beauties exude. More images to come real soon!
This exquisite wedding at the Grand del mar was a lot of fun to design. Particularly the grand feast style head table where we used hundreds of unique crystal brooches and embellishments. The grand glass vessels were hand painted in gold leaf holding hundreds of magenta/raspberry orchids, peonies and roses. Simply exquisite and luxurious! Please take a look at the video we made.
What a lovely day it was in Calistoga wine region. We had a great pleasure to design Brooke and Matt’s romantic wedding at the Solage Calistoga resort. It so meaningful to design for this wonderful family again. Several years back we worked with the lovely Keely (Matt’s sister)
The wedding was full of charming details. luscious peonies along with David Austin roses, dusty miller, strings of pearl succulents combined with grape wood set an elegant tone for this beautiful wedding. Brooke carried a sweet bouquet consisting of perfect peonies blooms, hand wired succulents and parrot tulips tied together with a vintage crystal brooch and trailing with a lace ribbon. The Ceremony was set in Solage Calistoga Resort lawn. With its beautiful natural backdrop, we created a lush wedding canopy dripping gorgeous blooms of peonies roses and hydrangeas along with our thick signature petal path. We had a lot of fun designing the guest escort table. It was definitely the focus feature of the cocktail hour. Aileen created multiple layers of floral pieces to set the beautiful place cards designed by J Grace stationery. Tall silver candelabras dripping with taper candles, lush florals in soft buttercream and blush shades weaved through the rustic tree stumps.
The dinner reception in the Solage Calistoga ballroom was lit up with crystal chandeliers hanging on burlap fabric with create a natural and rustic aesthetic. Large floral centerpieces set on our silver candelabra graced each guest table complete with lace wrapped candle holders and grape wood. Romantic blooms such as David Austin roses, peonies and parrot tulips helped created this elegant and vintage inspired wedding. Special thanks to U Me Us Studios for their gorgeous detail images. A big congratulations to the beautiful couple Brooke and Matt! Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your wedding!
It’s always timeless here at the Hotel Del Coronado. And the glorious ballroom requires a classic timeless decor. This beautiful wedding was so romantic and elegant using the soft pink combined with luxurious gold. Please stay tune for more gorgeous photos from Pam Scott.
It’s always a day in paradise when we get to design a wedding in Maui. This wedding was no exception. The elegant ceremony and dinner reception both took place at the Four Seasons Resort infamous oceanfront lawn. How can we do that you ask? Well, our Karen Tran Team worked expeditiously to turn over the ceremony space into a dining paradise that feasted the guests eyes. We took the bride’s love for gold, peonies, orchids, and bling (then again, what girl doesn’t like peonies and sparkle) and created a dreamy ceremony, glimmering with swags of crystal strands and billowing with peonies and bouquets of phalaenopsis orchids. A fantasy walk down the aisle wouldn’t be complete without a luxurious carpet of white rose petals. As the Maui sunset began, the candles were lit on their sumptuous king’s table. Each vase and vessel was embellished with either French satin ribbon, rhinestone brooches, or overflowing blooms. Guests took their seats upon chiavari chairs, dressed with our custom drape and crystal band, and enjoyed the ocean breeze well into the night. Many mahalos to Anna Kim Photography for the dazzling images!
What could be more romantic then a wedding in Hawaii? This wedding was set on the Ocean lawn at the Four seasons Resort in Maui. We converted the ceremony area into a feast style dining table lined with crystal encrusted candle holders, large white and blush colored florals dripping with crystal strands and elegant seaside elements integrated throughout. The couple’s guests dined underneath the romantic Maui skies surrounded with swaying palm trees while listening to the soft crashing of the waves. We hope you enjoy this video.
This gorgeous ceremony site at the Grand Del mar provides a majestic setting for this elegant Jewish wedding in the Aria lawn. The perfect manicure landscaping with it’s Moroccan Pravilion is a lovely complementary to our blush toned Chuppah wedding canopy. Thick and lush white petal path leading to the White floral drenched canopy is always a beautiful choice. Large white peonies were in full bloom and we took full advantage of that for this white palette wedding.
