I love experimenting with different bouquet handle treatments. They’re just as fun and exciting as the flowers themselves! In this case, I embellished the ends with crystals from our new collection to make a sleek and chic little number. ~Aileen
Four Seasons Maui at Wailea wedding
It’s official! We LOVE maui! Specifically The Four Seasons Maui at Wailea. What a beautiful oceanfront venue. The location is sublime. This is our first wedding in Hawaii and we can not wait to come back. We had a lot of fun designing the wedding for Ashley and Chance. More details to come really soon. Congratulations Ashley and Chance!

Bouquet Monday: Exotic Orchid Bouquet
While snorkeling in Honolua Bay, I saw the most spectacular array of fish and coral. These spotted orchids reminded me of an especially adorable fish and I knew I had to do something with them. Dot com makara orchids (cute name, right?), james story, fragrant plumeria, and monkey tails come together to make a tropical and elegant bouquet. Thank you Nikki and Justin for all the magnificent blooms. ~Aileen
Jessica and Mario ~ The INN at Rancho Santa Fe wedding
It’s our pleasure to introduce to you one of our favorite wedding this year. Jessica and Mario celebrated their wedding at the Rancho Santa Fe Inn, a comforting and inviting venue with plenty of rustic character. The bride’s favorite color was orange, so we combined that with her taste for curly willow branches and other organic elements. Mario was part Irish, and so we incorporated Bells of Ireland into the centerpieces and soon came up with a color scheme of orange, green, coral, brown, and white. Jessica’s bouquet was just as vibrant are her personality; coral spray roses and calla lilies were combined with fragrant gardenias and feathers to create a fun and flirty bouquet. Her bridesmaids carried organic inspired bouquets of orange makara, green cymidium orchids, pin cushions, roses, and coral calla lilies. And they look just fabulous with their hand painted parasols. What a fun addition! We were so delighted to work closely with the lovely and gracious Mother of the groom on this ‘full of details’ wedding. Tracy has many input on this grand wedding and was a joy to collaborate with.
We had a lot of fun designing her escort table. A grand manzanita tree adorned with orchids, cascading tulips, and moss was the focal point. Surrounding it were custom satin covered boxes filled with reindeer moss and river rock that anchored the guest’s escort cards. Their reception took place in a gorgeous tent on the Inn’s Croquet Lawn at the Inn at Rancho santa fe. Each table was dressed in green velvet embossed linens from Wildflower Linens and centerpieces bursting with orchids, tulips, Bells of Ireland, and calla lilies. Towards the end of the evening, the guests danced the night away on the seamless custom dance floor. Susanne Duffy helped to execute this fantastic event. Thank you to the talented Pam Scott for these gorgeous detail photos!! She always know what we like to see. Catering manager Marianna Ogando is so wonderful to work with at the INN and makes our job a whole lot easier. Thank you Marianna!
Bouquet Monday: Vibrant Hawaiian Bouquet
We just did a destination wedding at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea (more on that to come!) and are thrilled to be in paradise . Doesn’t this make you want to grab a mai tai and throw on a bikini? A bright mix of local lilies, protea, orchids, and plumeria make for a bouquet with lots of aloha for that tropical dream wedding ~ Aileen
Bouquet Monday: Kelly’s Wedding Bouquet
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of doing the floral design for Susanne Duffy’s assistant, Kelly. She was a lover of ruffly flowers, billy balls, and silver cone. So I chose a combination of David Austin roses, parrot tulips, and cattlya orchids in a coral, yellow, and cream palette to create her dream bridal bouquet. Her sister carried a loose and textural gathering of all white and yellow flowers with touches of dusty miller . ~Aileen

Shaun White’s ESPY Awards Party
To celebrate his nominations for the ESPY Awards, Olympic gold medalist, Shaun White threw a party that featured one of our candy stations. We went for an edgy, rock star look in yellow, black, and white for his swanky soiree. There’s no better way to celebrate a year’s worth of awards than with a stylish dessert buffet. Please feel free to contact us to create sweet display for your next event. Keep up the amazing work Shaun! Thank you Justin L’heureux for the fantastic photos!
French inspired tabletop
Here it is, the table top that fulfills my fantasy to stroll down the Champs Elysees and visit all the posh shops along the way. I was inspired by our new collection of jewelry and brooches and used it to accent everything from the centerpieces, vases, and even the napkins. Purple, lavender, and black have always seemed chic and Parisian to me, so naturally I chose to use roses, hydrangea, calla lilies, and feathers in that color palette. Jennifer from Simply Posh, whom always does such gorgeous work, designed the luxurious menus. Photos were taken by the ever talented Pam Scott. Thank you ladies!
Bouquet Monday: Deep Red and Aqua Bouquet
I’m crazy about the look of contrasting colors. Here, a rich red bouquet gets an unexpected twist with the addition of an aqua blue ribbon. Black bacara roses, burgundy calla lilies, and deep red dahlias all contribute various lines and textures to make this monochromatic bouquet especially striking. ~Aileen
The Lodge Torrey Pines wedding: Olivia and Steven
One can never go wrong with a classic white wedding. In this Lodge at Torrey Pines wedding, black was the accent color to a white and ivory floral palette. Dark earthy hues pair so well with the craftsman decor of this exquisite resort. Olivia and Steven exchanged vows on the Arroya Lawn, overlooking the immaculate golf course. Two large arrangements pouring with white phalaenopsis greeted guests at the entrance, white Hawaiian orchid leis and crystals cascaded from a dark stained wooden canopy. The celebration continued in the Charles Reiffel room, where low and abundant centerpieces on simple black runners adorned each table. A room of all black chiavari chairs make a striking statement. Susanne Duffy of Crown Weddings always puts on a fabulous event. Thank you Pam Scott Photography for the gorgeous photos! Last two photos by DJ Mike Hogan.
Gorgeous Pink Candy Buffet
Feast your eyes and stomachs on this stunning dessert station designed by the fabulous Aileen Tran. An elegant selection of all white candy, splashes of pink, hints of silver, and touches of bling makes for a mouth watering display. How else to complete an event than with a decadent dessert buffet? We are excited to add this service to our weddings. It’s a great way to express your style and spoil your guests. Please feel free to contact us to design your sweet station.
