We are so delighted to see our favorite Venue L’auberge Del Mar featured in Destingation I Do Magazine this coming spring. This magazine highlights beautiful wedding venues for couples desiring to exchange their vows away from home. L’auberge Del Mar is highly recognized for their stellar location. With their pacific terrance overlooking the Pacific with 180 degrees of beautiful ocean view, it’s no wonder it has received a raving review. We are honored to have our wedding decor images in this article. We designed both the Sunset Terrace and the Pacific Terrace. What pure pleasure!

Four Seasons Wailea Maui wedding feature in ‘The Bride and Bloom’ Magazine

Just rolled off the press and available now on the stand. The southern California ‘Bride and Bloom’ magazine featured our Four Seasons Wailea Hawaii wedding of Bo and Ray. The perfect location for a Maui Wedding.

We have been holding off blogging about this wedding! So we are over the moon excited to post this. The Title of their story is ‘Romance in Paradise’ and indeed it was. We think The Fours Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea is the most romantic place to get Married. Surrounded with lush exotic foliages and perched on a gorgeous lawn overlooking the sea is where the Ceremony was held. The impeccable oceanfront lawn was graced with an abundant of roses, tulips and orchids in rich creamy palette. Each side of the aisle were tall cascading strands of crystals and orchids. Talk about a statement! Thick petal path lead the gorgeous bride to our romantic signature wedding canopy where Bo and Ray exchanged their vows.
I was thrilled when Bo described her ‘dream’ wedding to me when we first spoke. In her own words ” I just want everything to be pretty” As we started devising their wedding plans, we gradually add crystals (lots of them!) feathers, lace and tons of bling. We took full advantage of the peonies season. It was integrated at every turn. What a lucky bride! The natural fluffy petals of the peony was perfect ingredient for our ‘pretty’ wedding…The use of the Peonies was abundant at the escort table. Each vessel was adorned with feathers, brooches and ruffles. Jennifer from Simply Posh design contributed her talent and provided the gorgeous blush exquisite guest cards and long with the menus.
The beautiful room at the Four Seasons Wailea turned into a pink floral fantasy. With each vase draped with multiple strands of crystals and tied with an antique brooch, the centerpieces glowed and brought sparkle to the room. Each crystal vase held a spectacular display of blush pink peonies, graceful orchids and gorgeous double parrot tulips. We continued the decor with the chair treatment for the bride and groom. We draped the back of the sweetheart’s chairs to imitating the chiffon draping of the Bride’s Vera Wang dress. Blooms of orchids roses and tulips adorned the chairs with Chantilly lace gathered at the base. The room was completed with the beautiful cake embellished with our custom crystal brooches. Ah, it was dreamy! Special ‘thank you’ to Pamela Scott for the beautiful images. Lastly, Huge thanks to our beautiful couple Bo and Ray! Congratulations on your feature! The new ‘Your Wedding Day’ Magazine is hot off the press

We are thrilled to be a part of the newly released ‘Your wedding Day’ Magazine. It is fresh off the press and now available in book stores. We were invited to design a ‘Hawaii Chic’ set at Rancho Los Lomas. I find this so fitting as we LOVE weddings in Hawaii! The scene was designed in deep chocolate with fresh Aqua color. The details are just exquisite! We worked tirelessly to come up with unique concept to display a fresh, chic and modern Hawaii inspired setting. The white draped back drop held custom bamboo frames (hand maded by Aileen and Julie) dripping with elegant orchids and black coral fans. Tall acrylic columns flank the entrance to this setting with hand painted wood branches set in aqua colored glass rocks. The decor continued to the escort card table where orchid leis hung off the bamboo lampshade. Jennifer at Simply Posh design did her magic with the most beautiful silk board name cards and custom acrylic edged menus. The name cards were set in acrylic box with AQUA rocks. Sweet cheeks did a marvelous job with the painted cake complete with the dark bamboo designs. It was perfect with our custom bamboo cake stand. The main dining table was adorned with orchids (of course!) and dark wood weaved throughout set in acrylic boxes and aqua rocks. The result was posh, fresh and so elegant! Susanne at Crown Weddings was included in this project to assist us with the decor. Special thanks to Caroline Tran Photography for these incredible images! Enjoy!

The knot Party at Santaluz country club

Bravo to the Crown Weddings team for a successful Knot’s party for wedding professional in San Diego, hosted at the beautiful Santaluz Country Club. This is a gorgeous place to host a wedding offering a fully lined white tent overlooking it’s golf course, rolling hills and stunning sunset.
Wonderful San Diego vendors collaborated together to produce this unforgettable elegant event. The tent at Santaluz Club was decked out with our extravagant and custom floral chandelier. Extending more than 5 ft across (and weighing a ton!), this floral chandelier was suspended from the tent ceiling bursting with hundreds of roses, orchids, tulips and viburnum in a robust warm palette. Karen Tran Florals, Simply Posh design, Concept event designs, platinum pro, Archive rentals and many others contributed to this lovely ’under the tuscan sun’ evening, an appropriate theme for this beautiful hilltop tuscany-inspired Country Club. A fun night full of laughter, fine food and serious eye candy decor. Founder and editor in chief Carly Rooney was present to mingle and spoke about our current trends. CW Shedding for the Wedding floral details

Last April CW TV broadcasted the grand finale wedding of their TV series ‘Shedding for the Wedding’. The deserving winners Samantha and Brooks had a spectacular wedding at the gorgeous Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verde. If you have been following the show, you would know that this lovely couple’s wedding theme is ‘Eco-Lovers’. With that theme in mind, we begin designing their fantasy wedding with many interesting organic elements such as succulents, branches, moss and naturally abundance of flowers. Well, flowers are natural right? In our last post, we showed you all beautiful images of their wedding ceremony over looking the pacific ocean at the Terranea Resort. The reception for their carried a very woodsy theme. The set was created in the ballroom with large life sized trees surrounding the guests. A rustic Tree house with a deck was custom built to hold the sweetheart table and the wedding cake. Our floral centerpieces amassed the tables with manzanita branches adorned with succulent strands, exotic orchids and roses carrying out the green and purple wedding colors. Rich overlay of green velvet embossed linens from Wildflower Linens was a perfect match for this luscious tabletop along with organic inspired menus from Simply Posh. The large floral piece of interesting gnarled branches cascading with purple tulips and calla lilies welcomed the guests as they enter the grand ballroom. The energy was high as guests danced the night away on a custom Monogram dance floor. We had a great time designing this wedding for CW. We wish Samantha and Brooks the best as they start their healthy life together. All the best from Karen Tran design team! Congratulations to Samantha and Brooks!

Engage!11 at the Grand Del Mar: florals details

As many of know, last week we welcomed the Engage!11 wedding summit here in to our hometown. We were over the moon excited to be a part of this event. The two phenomenal ladies of Engage! Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce were a joy to collaborate with. They provide us with a theme to work with: Deep red, black and white and asked us to run with it. Ran we did! Our heads were buzzing with a million ideas. We thought it was be fun to do something different then just a few blooms in a vase. We provided more the 34 floral pieces. EACH uniquely embellished with embossed leather, brooches, crystal strands and feather. FUN FUN FUN! Please enjoy the photos below, warning: they are detail overload. Engage11 Luxury Wedding Summit at the Grand Del Mar

We are so thrilled and excited to be a part of a very special event, Engage!11 at The Grand Del Mar. I have been a huge fan of this event for quiet some time. Words can not describe the Love and Respect I have for the two ladies responsible for putting on this spectacular summit, Rebeeca Grinnals and Katheryn Arce. Thank you so much for the opportunity, I am so very grateful!
We designed this exquisite life size wedding gown completely out of fresh flowers using hundreds of peonies, roses, hydrangeas and orchids. This graceful gown greeted the guests as they enter the foyer. We had a lot of fun designing our ‘Monique’. She was definitely a labor of LOVE. Stay tune for more…….

Shedding for the Wedding finale at the Terranea Resort

It was a beautiful sunny day at the Terranea Resort for Samantha and Brooks wedding who were crowned the winner of the reality show ‘Shedding for the Wedding’. Drawing from their Eco theme, we designed their gorgeous wedding using seasonal flowers and organic natural elements. We had a lot of fun incorporating more than a dozen different varieties of exotic succulents. Gorgeous!
Our design we had for Samantha and Brooks ceremony included custom pebble stone path with large terrarium to hold driftwood, moss and succulents to line the main aisle. Custom Acrylic columns encase dried grapewood branches surrounded with native plants to set the tone. The existing pergola was drenched with beautiful blooms of hydrangeas, Roses and exotic orchids. Sheer fabric and large crystal chandeliers added elegance to the main altar. The jaw dropping ocean view backdrop is absolutely surreal! This fantastic view was our reward as we worked expeditiously to have this ceremony setup for Television by 10am! talking about stress…….
We are so honored to be selected as the sole florist for Shedding for the Wedding. We had great fun designing a eco theme wedding that is lavish with fine details. Just right up our alley.
