Posh Flower Girl Purses

Remember those times when you were a little girl and would try on your mother’s clothes? I’d feel instant glamour as soon as I donned my mom’s oversized clip-on earrings and swung around her purses. Here are some flower girl purses that we made recently for a luxurious wedding. Seeing her daughters prance around feeling like grown ups made me think about those days of playing ‘dress up’. Being a sucker for Chanel, I had to incorporate quilted white leather to these chic little numbers. Vanda orchids, crystals, and burnt ostrich feathers make me swoon every time… ~Aileen

Mod Orange Tassel Bouquet

I have a confession to make: I have a tassel fetish. Perhaps it began after a wedding at the Parker Palm Springs, where I saw tons of swanky tassel lampshades. Or maybe this obsession started at a party under a tassel adorned Moroccan Raj tent. Since then, I’ve been salivating at the sight of them. Now that ranunculus season is coming to an end, I had to pay homage and incorporate them into this mod and retro inspired bouquet. Clean lined calla lilies and red aloe flowers are offset by a vibrant orange tassel embellishing the handle. Thank you JStemmer Photography for the fantastic photos!

Gorgeous Spring flowers. Check. Dramatic cascade. Check. Adorable vintage lace and jewel details. Check. This bouquet hits all the spots! The waterfall of hanging amaranth makes a daring statement. Delicate parrot tulips, coral ranunculus, and peach David Austin roses give it a softer aesthetic. Ruffles of white sweet pea are the perfect transition to the tailoring of vintage lace and antique jewel detail on the bouquet handle. ~Aileen

Purple Bearded Iris Bouquet

I wish this was a scratch-n-sniff post, because the scent of these purple bearded irises and sweet pea is undoubtedly swoon inducing. Bearded irises are like the green flashes of the flower world: only showing off their delicate ruffled blooms for only a month each year. Here, they are paired with royal blue vanda orchids, purple tulips, and aubergine sweet pea to make a textural and richly colored bouquet. Thank you Melissa Biador for the gorgeous photo! ~Aileen

Edgy Orange Bouquet

I’ve yet to come across someone that doesn’t love ranunculus. Whats not to love about these ruffled beauties? These vibrant orange tulips give this abstract bouquet the right about of pop, while geometric yellow protea perfectly compliment the edges of its petals. Purple Vanda Bouquets

One hot color that makes it to the top of my list every year is purple. With floral blooms ranging from lavender to eggplant, purple can be used in a modern and edgy wedding, as well as something more vintage and romantic. Vanda, a stunning exotic orchid, was the focal point for each of these bouquets, along with richly colored lilac, plum calla lilies, aubergine parrot tulips, and chartreuse cymbidium orchids. ~Aileen

Growing up, we had an amazing apricot tree. My favorite memory was picking off juicy nuggets and devouring baskets full of them. A sun-drenched apricot toned bouquet like makes me anxious for summer weddings. Doesn’t this just perfectly match this bridesmaid’s anthropologie dress? ~Aileen
